Although the weather is most definitely not fall-ish, we’re going to imagine it being crisp and cool while we’re partaking in the following throughout the next couple months.
Bates Nut Farm
We went last year and had a blast so we’ll be back this year. I can’t wait to see Charlotte’s reaction to all the animals, pumpkins, sites and smells. Last year she was only 5 1/2 – 6 months when we went, so this will be a whole new experience for her (and us with her!).
Bake some apple goodies
My Pinterest board is brimming with delicious looking apple goodies. I’ll send them off to Matt’s work so I’m not tempted to eat them all :)
Host a Friendsgiving
Plans are already in full swing and I can’t wait to host the first annual Friendsgiving with some of our friends!
Go Trick-or Treating
We’re still trying to figure out Charlotte’s costume as she very much dislikes wearing anything on her head (headband, hat, hood, etc.), so the costume can’t be dependent on any of those items. We’re also still toying with the idea of another family costume. Whether Matt and I dress up or not, I can’t wait to take her trick or treating! She won’t be eating any candy, but I’m just so excited to see her reaction to other kids costumes and see if she’ll actually be able to trick or treat. Maybe she’ll just walk into other peoples’ homes?
What’s better than one pumpkin patch?! TWO pumpkin patches! And this one includes a working dairy ranch. Charlotte can “moooooo” and “baaaaaah” to her hearts content.
Oktoberfest
We went to the La Mesa Oktoberfest last year and it was sooooo hot. Maybe this year it will be cooler. Maybe. Or maybe we’ll check out a different (family friendly) Oktoberfest.
What’s on your Fall Bucket List? I know you have one ;)
