It’s been awhile since I’ve done a weekend wrap-up or a life lately post. It’s amazing how someone so little can take up so much of your time and energy :)
Life lately consists of work, home and Charlotte. Matt and I had a long talk the other night, over some delicious vino, because I’ve been in a funk over this. I feel like I’m losing myself and all my creative energy and I’m getting snippy with people- no bueno. I have no time to myself because my little shadow has to know what I’m doing at all times. I can’t cook or clean or craft or do a n y t h i n g but play with her (which isn’t sooooo bad, I suppose).
We have decided that I will have a few hours to myself every weekend or every other weekend and I won’t feel guilty about it. Either Matt will take her out and I can get stuff done around the house, or I will go out and Matt will stay home with her. This is a win-win for all of us – I can do more crafts, baking, cooking, etc, Matt can say “yes” to golfing with friends without feeling guilty about it, and Charlotte gets one-on-one time with each of us.
Until our first weekend with this in place (which hopefully means more blog goodness), below are some photos as of late.
{At 19 months, she has decided she’s okay with riding on the back in the Ergo, although the look on her face doesn’t exactly say that. She sang all the way down the hill for our walk and then passed out for 40 minutes. We’ll have to try this again to see if it was just a fluke.}

She painted the purple one at school and she got the small one from a fall festival she went to with my parents when they were watching her in October.}
